This makes it a lot easier to have confidence in as well because you won't have to worry about an affiliate inflating the review to make sure that you buy the book even if they know that the book won't be helpful. This guide was written by Travis Stork. You probably recognize him as one of the doctors from the syndicated show "The Doctors" in addition to a reality contestant on "The Bachelor." Obviously, however, he's more than a tv personality. He is a genuine physician who works in an emergency room at a reputable hospital. Dr. Stork uses the book to market his Pick 3 to Lean program. The Pick 3 to Lean plan makes it possible to customize your diet and lifestyle habits but will not require you to spend hours and hours working out a gym. The plan promises to help you shed pounds without having to give up any of the things you love-food, free time, etc. The strategy is focused on the N.E.A.T (or Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) theory. This theory states that it is possible to burn off calories without having to work out. From what we read, this book makes a lot of nice promises but does not offer up any new or particularly revelation-worthy information. In fact, most of the advice present in this book can be found through a few simple Google searches and basic common sense. It will likely be very disappointing for those who were searching for a real reason behind the directions the book gives. The book doesn't search into theory very much. The readers are only given some outlines and strategies and told to follow along. This is a great book for someone who likes being given instructions but doesn't like to bother about why the instructions are given. Traditional common sense tells us that the only real way to lose weight is to take in good food and get regular exercise. This book isn't going to use that common logic so there isn't a real way to tell whether or not it will work the way the marketing promises it will.
